Former Midland Dow standout Jessica Schroll transferred to Central Michigan University to join the Central Michigan University women's basketball team. Schroll played 2 1/2 seasons at Iowa State and must sit out two semesters to become eligible. She will be eligible to play for CMU after the 2012 fall semester and will have one semester of elgibility remaining. "We are very pleased and happy to add Jess to our program,” said head coach Sue Guevara in a CMU press release. “She brings instant experience due to playing against tough opponents in hostile arenas. She is athletic, strong and a tough hard-nosed player who is a perfect fit for our offense.
