'World's largest paint party' canceled in Saginaw; Mount Pleasant remains on tour

A concert-like act dubbed “the world’s largest paint party” was canceled at downtown’s Dow Event Center here, officials say. DAYGLOW was scheduled for Thursday, but Dow Event Center officials say organizers of the rave-like event today announced they planned to cancel and reschedule for a later date. Matt Blasy, the event center's general manager, said organizers indicated a combination of low ticket sales and production issues forced the rescheduling, "but there are plans to get it back on the schedule." He said fans who already purchased tickets can get a full refund by returning to the location where the ticket was sold.
