Mother of Carnel Chamberlain told FBI she believes her boyfriend assaulted 4-year-old on two occasions

In a criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court Friday, Carnel Chamberlain's mother, Jaimee Chamberlain, said her boyfriend was violent with the now-missing 4-year-old boy. She alleges the boy was injured on two occasions. Anthony Bennett was taken into police custody Thursday and was arraigned in U.S. District Court Friday on a charge of assault resulting in substantial bodily harm to a child under 16, according to court documents. Law enforcement investigators have interviewed Jaimee Chamberlain several times since June 21, during the search for the missing 4-year-old, according to court documents.
