Central Michigan women's basketball knocks off rival Western Michigan, 93-85
In a high-scoring contest, Central Michigan outlasted rival Western Michigan for a 93-85 win Wednesday night at McGuirk Arena. The Chippewas improve to 2-1 in the MAC, 10-7 overall. With the win, Central head coach Sue Guevara is now 6-3 against the Broncos in her five seasons at the helm. Jessica Green led Central with 26 points to go along with seven rebounds, six assists and four steals. She was one of five Chippewas in double figures. Crystal Bradford finished with 20 points, six rebounds, five assists, five steals and five blocks. Jordan LaDuke had 13 points and seven rebounds, while Jalisa Olive added 12 points and four steals. Taylor Johnson followed with 11 points.
