The Central Michigan University student-run newspaper in Mount Pleasant is reporting that Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul plans to speak in Warriner Hall’s Plachta Auditorium Saturday. Paul, a Libertarian-minded Texas physician who the story says won the CMU College Republicans’ primary straw poll, is considered an outside contender for the party's nomination. Those who apply for vouchers at ronpaulatcmich.eventbrite.com may enter the event at 5 p.m. General admission begins at 5:30 p.m. CMU's Campus Conservatives are hosting the event.
