CMU's Zurlon Tipton to miss most of season with broken foot
via The Morning Sun
If Central Michigan is going to extend its winning streak against Western Michigan on Saturday, it will do so without one of its top players. Sophomore running back Zurlon Tipton will miss Saturday’s game and most, if not all, of the rest of the season due to a broken bone in his foot. “Zurlon broke a bone on the side of his foot. He is actually going to have surgery (today),” CMU coach Dan Enos said of the running back, who was injured during last Saturday’s game with Kentucky.
