Joke twitter handle CMU Squirrel follows in footsteps of Dexter Bear, Bronx Zoo cobra

When the poisonous Egyptian cobra escaped from the Bronx Zoo last April, someone made a twitter account and the snake amused 200,000 followers with it's antics on the town. Now Central Michigan University, which has unusually large squirrels on campus, has a similar account on the social networking site. It's the CMU Squirrel, a twitter account that follows the trials of a squirrel in Mount Pleasant. The anonymous account talks to students, posts photos and jokes about college life.
