Central Michigan University’s student publication last week redesigned its online site. The website, www.cm-life.com, now features a lineup of news stories that rotates along the top of the main page. The page breaks up its content into several categories including “top stories;” “university,” which follows the Mount Pleasant college’s internal happenings; “student life,” featuring stories about those enrolled at the school; “metro,” which deals largely with Mount Pleasant-based news; “voices,” which contain the publication’s opinion content; “vibe,” which focuses on arts and entertainment; and “sports.” Eric Dresden, a former Saginaw News reporter intern, serves as editor-in-chief of Central Michigan Life, which publishes three times a week during the school semester. The winter semester begins Monday, Jan. 9.
